1. 3G exploration surveys for PGPC, Pan Pacific, and Aragorn Power (2021)
PGEI conducted 3G surveys in various Philippine exploration areas in 2021-2023. These included geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and geophysical (MT and gravity) surveys which delineated potential geothermal resource of the area. These included:
a. Kalinga, Cordillera Autonomous Region, Northern Luzon for Aragorn Power and Energy Corporation and Guidance Management Corporation
b. Mt. Labo, Camarines Norte Province in 2022 for Philippine Geothermal Production Company (PGPC)
c. Cagua-Baua, Cagayan Province in 2023 for Pan Pacific Power Corporation (photos below)

2. Magnetotelluric and Gravity Surveys in Daklan, Benguet Province
Magnetotelluric and gravity surveys were conducted in 2023 in Daklan, Benguet Province, Cordillera Autonomous Region for the exploration project of Philippine Geothermal Production Company in 2023.

3. Geological Well Sitting Services
PGEI provided geological well sitting services for the various drilling campaigns of Philippine Geothermal Production Company for their Tiwi and Makban production fields in 2020-2022, and for their exploration wells in Malinao, Bicol Region. Similar services were rendered one well in Kalinga, Northern Luzon for Aragorn Power and Energy Corporation.
PGEI was also commissioned once again by Maibarara Geothermal Inc (MGI) for well sitting during drilling a reinjection well from 24th of June to 24th of July 2024.
During the resumption of drilling campaign in Malinao and Tiwi in 2025, PGEI deployed two (2) senior wellsite geologists. After completion of two (2) wells in 2025, drilling activity will still be pursued in Tiwi, then will move to Mt. Labo in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur. PGEI remains committed to provide the needed manpower.
4. PGPC Tiwi Pilot Test of Acid Well Utilization In the domestic venture, PGEI expanded its services portfolio by providing technical and operational support to the Philippine Geothermal Production Company (PGPC) for the first pilot test of acid well utilization in Tiwi geothermal field. PGEI deployed a geochemist and three (3) geochemical technicians who are experts in operating the chemical dosing set-up and maintaining its efficiency for well productivity. Started in November 2023, the pilot test is still ongoing and has been successful in making the acidic well contribute a stable output of around 2 MWe to the geothermal power plant in Tiwi.
5. DUE Diligence for Biliran and Montelago Geothermal Areas In the domestic scene, PGEI takes pride in being commissioned by Emerging Power Inc. (EPI), a subsidiary of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC) for reassessment of resource potential of its two (2) geothermal projects which are both in advanced exploration stage. Prior to conducting a thorough review of available geological, geochemical, geophysical, drilling and well tests data for each project, the PGEI Board of Directors visited the Biliran-1 and Mindoro (Montelago) project sites on the 14th-18th of July and 18th-20th of August, respectively. The results which included recommendations for confirmatory drilling were presented to the EPI management.

6. Trainings Providers:
Over the past year, we keep on providing technical services to the Philippine Geothermal Production Company (PGPC). In March 2025, PGEI organized and handled specialized training on Wellsite Geology and Geothermal Petrology for the geoscientists of PGPC. The training sessions were held at PGPC head office in Makati City on the 5th-7th and 20th-21st of March.
